The Face Behind the Screen
I had the pleasure of spending time with other gluten free eaters at the GF Baking Retreat this past weekend. Some were my followers, and it was so nice to meet the person connected with the name in the comments section. It was nice disconnecting from the internet and truly connecting with those around me.
Sometimes I think, despite multiple social media platforms, we’re actually very disconnected. As the hectic holiday season approaches, I want to encourage us to make time to be with other people. To talk face to face. To truly listen to one another. Sometimes the more we learn about others, the more we learn about ourselves.
Sincerely,
Margaret Clegg

NEW POST - This past weekend at the retreat, we baked a lot of different things. Carrot cake. Bread. Cinnamon Rolls. Calzones. Cookies. It gave some the safety to try something new, but not having to do it alone.
I’m so glad that there are so many bakers in Michigan who are eager to help with your Thanksgiving dinner. Whose desire is to help you and your family focus on togetherness, instead of fretting about the pie or cake. Find a complete list of Michigan gluten free bakers, their menus and their deadlines in this post.
