Celiac Disease Awareness Month Continues
All month long I’ve been posting infographics on Facebook and Instagram relating to Celiac Disease, the gluten free diet, and how it impacts our bodies. I’ve created links to all of my graphics, towards the end of this newsletter.
Let me know if there’s a topic you have questions on or would like to see covered!
P.S. Here’s the link to gluten free groceries on sale this week. And the Aldi cheesecake SHOULD be back at stores right now. PLEASE don’t hoard them. I’m seeing photos of people buying 6 to 8 cheesecakes. Don’t be that person that makes it so it’s not available for other people to try.
NEW POST! Review of Republica in Berkley, MI
Berkley, MI is located 20 miles north of Detroit and less than 10 minutes from the Detroit Zoo. This quaint town has lots of nice shops and some great places to eat.
I’ve been to Republica a number of times, and have always had a fantastic meal. This celiac- family owned business raises the bar for what gluten free dining should be. They have GF fish and chips, too!
Other places to Berkley to visit? I love Vinsetta Garage and The Lunch Cafe. I’ve also safely ordered ice cream treats from Bombshell Treat Bar. And Slow’s Bar BQ will soon be opening a new location in Berkley.
