Thankful for My Village
It’s been a doozy of a week in the “mom caregiving’ world. Then I had my own health issue crop up, and I’m so thankful that I have a set of friends who are willing to step in to care for our parents when we can’t.
If you are a parental caregiver, please make sure to take care of yourself. And even if it’s hard to ask for help, try to ask people in your circle who may be willing to help in a pinch. Caring for aging parents can be a heavy load. May we be the kind of people who are willing to help those around us.
P.S. Here’s the link to gluten free groceries on sale this week. The gluten free donuts *should* be back at Aldi this coming Wednesday.
Gluten Free S’mores Bars
The holiday weekend is here and I wish I was sitting around a fire with melty marshmallows and warm chocolate. For those of us without a fire pit (or without a party invitation) you can make these Gluten Free S’mores Bars in the oven. No roasting forks needed.
